Articles of Incorporation

Articles of incorporation are important because they establish the association within its home state, informing the state of the key aspects of its business. being a legal corporation, protects its members from the association's debts.

By Laws

A by-law is a rule or law established by an organization or community to regulate itself, as allowed or provided for by some higher authority. The higher authority, generally a legislature or some other government body, establishes the degree of control that the by-laws may exercise

CC & R's

The rules of the HOA community are described in what's called the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs). The CC&Rs describe the requirements and limitations of what you can do with your property. The goal of the CC&Rs is to protect, preserve, and enhance property values in the community.

Rules & Forms

HOA rules and regulations are intended to work in unison with bylaws and CC&Rs. They are designed to maintain the value and well-being of the association, but they should not be used to restrict members' enjoyment of their community. Rules should be followed by members, but they are not set in stone.

The board of directors at Edgewood believe in accountability.   We achieve that through our monthly publication, FYI.  By law we need to make our meeting minutes available for anyone to review, so in each month’s issue you will find the minutes from the previous meeting., along with pertinent information about recent or coming events, and a message from the president of the board.   Click the icon to view our FYI archives.
